Each person who walks into our office has issues and goals unique to him or her. During the initial consultation, we will talk about both to determine the best treatment for you. Factors that determine the frequency and duration of treatment will be discussed, such as the condition, mechanism of injury, age, lifestyle and family history.
We believe that the body is an integrated system and therefore follow a "whole-body" approach to evaluating the spine. Rather than just examining a single area, we do that in addition to seeing how it relates to other areas of the body to correct improper biomechanics and prevent future injuries. The examination includes vitals, range of motion, chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological tests, palpation, and posture analysis to identify the cause of the problem.
After a thorough consultation and examination has been performed, we review the results with our patients so they can make informed decisions about their care. It is important that patients understand their treatment plan and how it will help them reach their goals.
Treatment options for your condition will be discussed during this time.
